You will be working with one of the global-leading insurance companies. With a new business entity being established, support will be required for their new machines on-site and remotely.

What you'll do

  • User support: Level 1 desktop support where you answer questions, complaints and problems that users encounter. Will be required to set up new user accounts, desktops, laptops, mobile devices and printers. Support for laptops and mobile devices may be required remotely for global regions
  • Windows support: Microsoft Windows OS and Office 365 will need to be troubleshooted and resolved. You will have to install software requested by the company. If problem is complex, escalation to Level 2 / 3 support is needed
  • Security: Install and update all machines to have latest productivity tools and security patches to conform with latest company security policies. Regular maintenance and security audit is required
  • Documentation: Write-up of documents for IT issues and procedures. Reports needed for Level 2 / 3 support team

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree holder in Information System or related disciplines
  • 2-5 years of work experience in providing desktop support/ help-desk service to end users
  • Strong working knowledge in Microsoft Windows, Office 365 and Active Directory
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Good English communication skill
  • Experience working in a start-up environment and/or in Agile IT team is advantageous
  • Experience working with Jira Software is advantageous
