To support the review and development of financial accounting processes, with a view to further enhancing controls and identifying efficiency gains.

A leading insurance company is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Finance team as a Lead Accountant for Finance Projects & IFRS 17 implementation.
This is a highly unique opportunity as you will be acting as a team lead to support the senior management team.
Some of the main responsibilities are outlined below;
Working closely with the Finance Manager & CFO to prepare board packs, review, draft and sign off.
Support the planning process fo the company & support the accounting and financial reporting projects.
Ensure the proper implentation of IFRS standards (in particular IFRS 17)
Support in the maintenance of Finance policy framework and keep up to date with the processes
The ideal candidate;
Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc)
Ideally you will have insurance industry knowledge
SAP Accounting knowledge
Experience preparing board packs & managing finance projects
