QUALIFIED/PART-QUALIFIED ACTUARY OPPORTUNITY
A leading UK Insurance business is seeking to add an excellent communicator to their actuarial team where you will be responsible for presenting complex financial information to stakeholders for strategic decision making.
Due to strong results, this innovative, global business is seeking to add further resources to its actuarial team where you will support not only the finance team, but will consult with sales and marketing.
Support all areas of this award winning business with responsibility for: -
- Regular production of the IFRS Reserves and Solvency II results.
- Support of other ad hoc projects in the team related to Investments, Profit, Capital and Claims Optimisation
- Support the development and monitoring of the business investment portfolio including the review of the current asset mix and scanning the market for investment opportunities.
- Support the calculation of the key monthly reserves for the Reserving Committee and to provide insight on the business claims development to drive appropriate executive decision making on pricing and business profitability.
Strong communications kills are paramount for for this position due to extensive liaison with all areas of the business.
