A global insurance provider is seeking an analyst/actuary for a business critical role. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the acceptance, management and ownership of financial and non-financial risks.
This team provides oversight of liquidity risk, maintaining policies and management plans. This involves research, utilising investment bank papers and other sources, to provide commentary to executive and non-executive risk committees. More broadly this role will support other risk SME's within the business, where the work flow is fairly project based.
This is an excellent position with global exposure - highly recommended for candidates with strong interests in macroeconomics and investments.
Candidates must have the following:
- Insurance experience
- FIA or CFA qualified, or working towards qualification
- Understanding of market dynamics, and key risk drivers that affect asset valuation
- Evidence of using initiative in current role (strong preference for proactive individuals)
- Excellent excel skills
This is a business critical role, interviews are currently being arranged remotely with intent to offer during lockdown. This is an untraditional role that is unlikely to re-enter the market due to current business structure.
