My client is a leading, global (re)insurer entity with an exceptionally entrepreneurial and agile culture; They are recruiting for a newly-created, Senior Wordings position to be based from their prominent, Central London location. Ideally you will have knowledge of the Lloyd's / London market environment and be adept at Wordings whilst working with a number of internal and external stakeholders.
This is a technical, hands-on role working with a geographically dispersed team based in the UK and US. You will initially concentrate on the legacy products, (working on existing contracts and policies), whilst also ensuring that any new broking / underwriting classes / territories are well-supported.
This is a senior role working with senior internal business leaders meaning the role-holder will have a truly global, group-level impact.
Consequently, this opportunity will give an ambitious, capable, senior wordings professional the chance to contribute directly to growing their management capabilities and be truly impactful to an impressive business. You must be strong in reinsurance wordings, either from an underwriting or broking perspective. You must also have experience of managing stakeholders. You must also not be intimidated by taking on a very visible and challenging role which has huge rewards for the right individual.
