Commercial Finance Manager - Process Improvements

Title: Commercial Finance Manager - Process & System Improvements

Location: Lancashire

Rate: Up to £350 per day

Oliver James Associates are currently working with a successful manufacturing/FMCG business based in Lancashire, who do to substantial growth, are looking to build out the commercial finance capabilities. Supporting the FD, you will be responsible for implementing a robust commercial finance function including system and process improvements.

The Role

Duties will include:

  • Overseeing the preparation of all financial and strategic KPI's
  • Prepare annual budget, forecasting and periodic reviews required by budget holders
  • Take ownership of sales & margin analysis
  • Manage the finance function including designing and implementing systems and procedures
  • Mentor and develop the team on new changes
  • Constant review of current systems and processes to improve efficiency

Skills

  • Qualified Accountant - ACCA/ACA/CIMA
  • Experience of Sage 200 is essential, Power BI and/or SQL is preferred
  • Proven experience in a similar role, implementing new systems and or finance processes
